The Department develops and coordinates policies and programs to help all New Mexicans to reach their full potential through higher education. We are committed to ensuring that our colleges and universities are producing graduates who can compete successfully in global workforce. In coordination with the institutions of higher education throughout the state, the Department is working to produce a skilled, educated workforce that will stimulate economic growth and bring prosperity to all the citizens of New Mexico.
