It explains how postsecondary students can continue their education and resolve student loan issues if they attended a school that has closed. The U.S. Department of Education allows students to identify and instantly document the closed status of private postsecondary schools, and it can be used to confirm whether a student is eligible for cancellation of a student loan received while attending a school that has closed.
