Formula Technical Committee

At the request of Secretary Garcia and, at the discretion of the Secretary, the 2012 New Mexico statewide higher education funding formula Technical Committee will perform calculations, analyses, approximations, comparisons, scenarios, etc. related to potential revisions to the formula. This can include evaluation of other states’ efforts, items that were considered last year, but not included, outcome measures, data collection, and timelines for implementation.

The Formula Technical Committee, under the general direction of Secretary Garcia and Mark Chisholm (Chair), shall be composed of The Executive Directors of the associations of New Mexico universities, branch campuses, and the independent community colleges; institutional researchers and financial officers from institutions; and NMHED staff.
